I’ve been saying for a while that the brouhaha over sitting is mostly a fiction. Sitting is far less of a problem than a simple lack of fitness. Not a single of the of the “scientists” promoting that the idea that sitting will kill has disputed my logic. Importantly, there is a very good study on this, which has been almost completely ignored by the conventional media. You can read the abstract here. Yeah, it’s probably good for you to sit less, but, really, that’s not going to save or extend your life or improve its quality. That task is a fitness task.
