So rarely do mainstream media articles about diet and exercise tell the truth. Hats off to Pop Sugar for telling like it is in this excellent, succinct essay. You can quibble with a couple of things in the piece, but for the most part, Jenny Sugar hit the nail on the head. You must eat less, you must move more (at least an hour a day five times per week). To that, I add this: you better expect to be hungry from time to time. Comes with the territory. You’re not going to die, don’t worry.
The truth is often elegant and uncomplicated. It’s just not always easy to implement.
