Great StrongFirst podcast with spine expert Stu McGill. Well worth the listen. I love how he ever-so-politely disses yoga. He also speaks very clearly about how proximal tension produces distal power…vital to nearly every sport you can think of, including the combat sports. The leaders at the dojo where I used to train wouldn’t even know what proximal and distal mean. Hilarious. Experts, indeed.
