As I wrote recently in USA Karate Magazine, kettlebells are the most economical, efficient, and effective tool for people training across the broad range of martial arts from MMA to judo to jeet kune do, karate, taekwondo, krav maga, as well as boxing and wrestling.
Kettlebell training can also help you attract new students who have a greater interest in full body strength and conditioning for overall better health. They take up little space and cost a fraction of Olympic lifting equipment.

I am a First Kyu in traditional Shotokan karate, and a StrongFirst-certified SFG, Level 1 Kettlebell Instructor. My first Kyu rank is from the Shuhari Institute, earned before a testing panel led by Sensei Toru Shimogi. I also have a deep, evidence-based grasp of biomechanics and physiology, which will come across as we work and train together.
